the eve of...

Last day of the year. Doesn't it seem like the time when everyone's spewing pseudo-philosophical musings? Maybe there's just an inherent sense of barely quenched panic that psychologically accompanies the witchin' hour between the end of one year and the start of another.

365 days in a year. 365 photos. Put them together, turn on the blender, and what shiny new concoction do you get? Project 365 (or 365 Project, if you really do insist), where one photo is taken a day, every day, for a whole year. (Well, I would imagine some days, more than one would be taken, but for the sake of the concept, one is shared.)

I've been debating whether or not to give this a shot. Still am, actually. I mean, it's 2010. The transition between high school and the real world! Busy, busy, busy, in a nutshell. It's the happenin' year. So maybe this isn't the best time.

But at the same time, maybe it is. It's 2010. A year that's held pretty hugh significance, seeing as how we're Class of '10. (Especially since Facebook seems to enjoy insisting upon this fact - a very direct formula of "-Insert School Name Here- '10") Maybe it would be interesting to chronicle what happens, in a visual sort of way. Let's face it - there's probably going to be backposting involved. There'll be days when the task just won't get done.

But hey - if the world is ending in two years, well.

See you in 2010.
